The Asphyxia installation (= suffocation) shows the level of air pollution in the immediate vicinity. The system receives input from devices that residents in the neighbourhood have built themselves and that measure air pollution. A project of the Waag Society and students of Digital Design.
De installatie Asphyxia (=verstikking) maakt het niveau van luchtvervuiling in de directe omgeving zichtbaar. Het systeem krijgt input van apparaten die bewoners in de buurt zelf hebben gebouwd en die de luchtvervuiling meten. Een project van de Waag Society en studenten Master Digital Design.
